2026 Holiday Community Giving Program
Sponsored by: Mohr Air Conditioning & Plumbing ("Mohr").
1. Program Purpose
Mohr's Gift of Comfort is a community giving program created to help families experiencing financial hardship or other difficult circumstances by providing essential home comfort equipment.
Mohr intends to select two deserving households to receive:
- Gift One: One complete residential heating and cooling system, including standard professional installation.
- Gift Two: One residential water heater, including standard professional installation.
The two gifts are intended for separate households. This is a needs-based charitable selection program, not a random drawing or sweepstakes.
2. Nomination Period
Nominations open November 9, 2026, and close December 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
Mohr anticipates selecting recipients by December 16, 2026, and notifying them shortly thereafter.
Installation dates will be coordinated with recipients based on equipment availability, installation requirements, and scheduling.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for consideration, a nominated household must meet all of the following requirements:
- The nominated family must own and occupy the home as its primary residence.
- The home must be located within Mohr's established service area in Northeast Arkansas.
- The household must demonstrate financial hardship, extraordinary circumstances, or a significant need for assistance.
- The home must have an existing heating and cooling system or water heater that requires replacement.
- The homeowner must agree to allow Mohr to inspect the existing equipment and evaluate installation requirements.
- The installation must be feasible using the home's existing ductwork, electrical system, plumbing connections, and other applicable infrastructure.
The following properties and individuals are not eligible:
- Renters or tenants.
- Rental properties, including homes owned by landlords or property investors.
- Vacation homes, secondary residences, and investment properties.
- Commercial properties.
- Employees of Mohr and their immediate family members.
- Only owner-occupied primary residences are eligible for the program.
4. How to Nominate
- Individuals may nominate themselves, a family member, friend, neighbor, veteran, first responder, or another deserving household.
- Nominations must be submitted through the official Gift of Comfort nomination form.
- Nominators should provide accurate information explaining the household's circumstances and equipment needs.
- Photographs of existing equipment may be submitted but are not required. Nominators should not access unsafe equipment areas or remove equipment panels to obtain photographs.
- Submitting multiple nominations does not increase a household's likelihood of selection.
5. Selection Process
Recipients will be selected based on factors that may include:
- Financial hardship or extraordinary family circumstances.
- Condition, reliability, and safety of existing equipment.
- Household needs and the impact of receiving the gift.
- Feasibility and safety of completing the installation.
- Mohr may contact nominees to obtain additional information, confirm their willingness to participate, and arrange an equipment inspection.
- Selection decisions will be made by Mohr's designated review committee using a consistent evaluation process.
- Selection is not based on chance, and submitting a nomination does not guarantee that assistance will be provided.
6. Equipment and Installation — What's Included and Excluded

The following work is specifically excluded:

General Installation Conditions
- All installations are subject to a pre-installation inspection by Mohr.
- Mohr will determine the appropriate equipment brand, model, size, and configuration based on the home's requirements.
- The existing infrastructure must be suitable for a safe, code-compliant installation without requiring excluded work.
- If excluded work is necessary, Mohr may determine that the property is ineligible and select another qualifying household.
- No recipient will be required to purchase additional work as a condition of receiving the gift unless it is necessary to make the equipment functional.
- The gifts are nontransferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be exchanged for other products or services.
7. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase, payment, service appointment, or marketing consent is necessary to submit a nomination or be considered for selection.
Purchasing products or services from Mohr will not improve a household's chances of being selected.
A pre-installation inspection may be required for finalists, but no paid service appointment is required.
8. Recipient Notification and Permission
Selected households will be contacted privately before any public announcement.
Mohr will not publicly identify recipients, disclose their circumstances, or share photographs of their homes without appropriate permission.
Recipients may decline public recognition.
9. Equipment Warranties
Installed equipment will include applicable manufacturer warranties.
Mohr will explain any applicable installation or workmanship warranty to the selected household before installation.
Future maintenance, repairs outside applicable warranties, utility expenses, and unrelated equipment are not included unless separately agreed to in writing.
10. Program Administration
Mohr reserves the right to verify nomination information, request additional documentation when reasonably necessary, and determine whether an installation can be safely and appropriately completed.
Mohr may modify program dates or procedures when necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Material changes will be communicated through its official website.
Mohr may disqualify nominations containing materially false or misleading information.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected through this program will be handled according to the Gift of Comfort Privacy Notice.
