About Parkin, AR - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Parkin is a lovely Southern town along the St. Francis River.  With a population of just over 1,000, it is quite rural and the pace is slow.  This is the perfect place for lovers of nature, outdoor activities and relaxation.  With 4 distinct seasons, the landscape is every changing and you can watch the leaves fall, the snow come down, the flowers bloom and then it start all over again each year.

If you are looking for a nice way to spend a spring or summer day then you should bring the whole family to visit Parkin Archeological State Park.  There you can get a glimpse into ancient history and aboriginal people’s lives. Artifacts are on display at the site’s museum and enjoy the beauty and splendor of untouched nature. There is so much to see and to learn at this wonderful park.

If learning is on your mind then you will be glad to know that Jonesboro is a college town right nearby!  Arkansas State University, the flagship campus of the ASU system, is a center of academics and culture. It is home to many sororities and fraternities and has a multitude of undergraduate and graduate programs to choose from.  This is the perfect place to spend a crisp, fall day as you can take a tour and get to know more about the school and what it has to offer to its students and alumni.  Also in Jonesboro, is The Mall at Turtle Creek, opened in 2006 and is the largest mall in Northeastern Arkansas.

If you are a golfer then you may wish to visit Marion where you will find the Marion Golf and Athletic Club. This is a great place for a round of championship-caliber golf.  Fishing, duck hunting boating and other sports are also extremely popular in the town of Marion which is only a short boat ride from Memphis.  In Memphis you will find a wide array of dining, shopping and music to be enjoyed but no trip to Memphis would be complete without a tour of Graceland or National Civil Rights Museum where Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot and killed.  These are both awesome indoor learning experiences ideal for colder times of year.
